1. Size guide:
Normally, the digital calendar (printable calendar) is designed at Letter size (8.5"x11") format. If you want different sizes, there are a few ways to customize. Today, I am going to show you 2 popular methods.
Below screenshots are examples for your reference, your printer might look slightly different.
Method 1: printing as multiple pages per sheet.
- Step 1: Go to your printer setting, in the page scaling section, select the option "Multiple page per sheet".
- Step 2: Set number of pages per sheet. This number will decide your final calendar size. For example: In the screenshot below, I set 2 pages per sheet, it will give me around 5" x 7" monthly calendar.
- Step 3: Select the border option. This option gives us a border line around each page. It will help us cut the page a lot easier.
- Step 4: Put 8.5" x 11" size papers into printer and print.
- Step 5: Cut the printed paper based on the border line.
Method 2: changing your printer setting.
- Step 1: in your printer setting, choose the paper size that you want.
- Step 2: under Page Scaling, choose Fit to Printable Area.
- Step 3: Put the right size papers into printer. If you select 5"x 7" in step 1, you need to put paper size 5"x 7" in printer.
- Step 4: Click print.
2. Paper guide:
You can print the calendar with any papers you have on hand. For a best look, I would recommend printing your calendar at least 65 gsm or card stock. Remember ink coverage and color will vary depending on the paper you choose.
Hope these tips help.
